Jonathan Kipnis, PhD, is one of several renowned researchers to be recruited to St. Louis as part of the BJC Investigators Program.

Established in 2017 as a cooperative effort between Washington University School of Medicine and BJC HealthCare, the program is focused on the recruitment of scientists who bring innovative approaches to major biological quandaries and whose discoveries stand to inform new ways of understanding disease and developing treatments.

The program specifically focuses on basic science and is inspired by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s philosophy of investing in people with exceptional creative talent.
